AllHipHop.com reports that Shyne is gearing up to release the first official single from his upcoming album via a new deal between his Gangland Records, and Island/Def Jam.
According to reports, the single will drop next Tuesday (April 13th), making it his first new single in almost 10 years.
Shyne has signed a seven-figure deal with Def Jam, ending a bidding war that included Dr. Dre/Jimmy Iovine. The plan is to have Shyne work out of London. That is, if he can get past UK immigration.
She also reports that Shyne has been working with Kyambo “Hip-Hop” Joshua for a while now. (Joshua and his HipHopSince1978 partner, Gee Roberson, also manage Lil Wayne, Drake, Young Jeezy, etc.)
