Jesse Sapolu. A legend in his own right, and very well a legend in every proud Hawaiian’s mind. “A dominating presence on the offensive line,” Sapolu proudly donned the San Francisco 49ers uniform for fourteen years, clutching four Superbowl championship rings, and played with some of the greats of 49ers history (Joe Montana, Jerry Rice). A graduate of Farrington High School and UH, he’s also the main protagonist of our newest t-shirt in our Homegrown series.
This Homegrown pack features the aforementioned Homegrown tee which pays homage to Jesse Sapolu, featuring a photo of Sapolu contentedly displaying a shaka with three of his four Superbowl rings. Up next is a brand new Mua New Era which utilizes royal blue on the brim (navy blue stitching on the brim as well), navy blue upper on all panels and a white Mua logo with tonal New Era, crest and crown logos. Lastly is a cardinal crewneck pullover which is light enough to wear on a gusty day, featuring a white embroidered crest on the front area.
