Kanye West x Jay-Z – “H.A.M.” Single Cover Art | By Riccardo Tisci

There wasn’t a need for an elaborate press release. With a click and Twit, Kanye West revealed information on the upcoming single, H.A.M., the first from the much anticipated collaborative album with Jay-Z, Watch The Throne. With the single’s title and the release date 1.11.11 boldly marked on the front, the symmetrical graphics of crowns, mandibles, and raging Rottweilers present an interesting insight on the return of intrigue album art. Whereas West had famous contemporary artist George Condo create the cover art for My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, he had Riccardo Tisci, the creative director for fashion house Givenchy, designed the cover for H.A.M. More to come next Tuesday, January 11th, when the single officially release.
