Nike SB Dunk High Statue of Liberty

The list of Dunk SB’s inspired by iconic spots is a long one, filled with many sought-after successes. Here’s one based on one of the most classic symbols of America ever – the Statue of Liberty. This Dunk is more than skin-deep aesthetics, as it incorporates a layer of green, meant to eventually rub off with wear, which emulates the green oxidation covering the Statue. Shoes like this always present a conundrum to the sneakerheads – a group that typically prizes the deadstock over the worn-in. Some are going to distress these shoes down to the copper, and some are going to be applying the sealant halfway through. Either way, it’s a great start to the Dunk Pro series – Nike’s first upgrade to the Dunk SB technology in quite some time. Coming to select SB accounts next month.
